Too fussy a design, you go from something that has only 2.5 states (stop, sorta stop, go) to something close to analog that you have to fucking "read" at 50mph before you know wtf is going on.
Not to mention you're giving people a fucking countdown to green. An invitation to tear out if I ever saw one. I would love to see this implemented though, intersections would be fun again. Back when I was in south FL and hurricanes would take out traffic lights the law of the land was that every intersection becomes a 4-way stop in the absence of signals.You should have seen the chaos. That's when I began to long for zombie time, with so many blithering imbeciles around, survival either becomes guaranteed, or impossible. Entertainment though, guaranteed.
