I'm always amazed at how intrusive utility wires are in pictures; I kind of don't see them in reality because I've learned to ignore them when looking at a scene; when I take the picture, though - bam! where did those goddam wires come from?! oh yeah. Particularly weird for me since part of my job is working on overhead lines (in that respect, I'm often hyper-aware of utility wires...)
