When the guy behind the counter suddenly turned and purposefully walked to the back of the store, that was those kids' cue to leave, not jump the counter and follow him. What they took as a retreat was actually "Enough talk, I'm getting a hold of something dangerous."
Can anybody tell what he's holding? It looks very thin but it makes noises like it's very heavy.
