Last February, Canadians had their mental paradigm shattered when a senior member of the armed forces, Col. Russell Williams was arrested and charged with murdering two women.

“The accusations shook the armed forces and the Canadian public. Col. Williams had been hand-picked and ‘pipelined’ into the upper echelons of the air force. He trained new pilots, flew the prime minister’s plane and last summer was awarded command of S-Wing Trenton, with 2300 men and women, the country’s largest and busiest air force base.” (Globe and Mail, April 17.)

Today, Oct 21, Williams was sentenced to life in prison for murdering a subordinate, Cpl Marie-France Comeau in her home last October, and another woman Jessica Lloyd on Jan. 28. He confessed to breaking into the homes of other women, stripping them, beating them and photographing them naked. He also made some 80 pantie raids on women’s homes.

Sorry to burst your bubble but the seal hunt is not animal abuse...it and its methods have been found to be humane and acceptable to many organizations including the Canadian wildlife foundation. Canada has some of the strictest and humane rules when it comes to animal welfare, I know this as a member of the Canadian Trappers Association and Mb Wildlife Federation. Rules for trapping fur bearing animals state that death must come within 3 minutes of the trap closing, Seal hunting in this manner assures death in a much much quicker time space than allotted , this is wildlife management , not animal abuse and it is also someones bread and butter on the table.

none of the adds say-" If you kill an animal within 3 minutes it is not torture. So that means the people who make their bread and butter killing baby seals for fur are exempt from serial killer status."

They just say if someone harms or kills an animal they may harm or kill you.

Is this a false statement and if it is, what are the signs of someone who will kill me?

I'll leave the semantics up to thems people who make decisions about what is the right amount of toxins to put in cell phones or
personal computers.

I guess it's someone's buttered salmon sandwich!
