The charges keep mounting for the “toxic tush” nurse who injected other women’s posteriors with super glue and canned tire-inflator. Already in hot water for practicing medicine without a license, the black-market nurse has been charged with manslaughter, following the untimely death of a 31-year-old mother.
“This is new to everybody,” Dani Moschella, spokeswoman for the Broward Sheriff’s Office told the Daily News. “Everything about this case is startling: the appearance of the suspect, the substances that the suspect used and the fact that the victims allowed it to happen again and again.”
Officers arrested thirty-two-year-old Oneal Ron Morris, a.k.a. Duchess, for alleged homicide at her mother’s home on Thursday. She is incarcerated in Broward County jail in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. She has injected many patients – particularly other transgendered women seeking feminine curves – with toxic combinations of Fix-a-Flat, rubber cement, mineral oil and caulk.
Shatarka Nuby is Morris’ first patient to die from these shady practices. Morris sometimes wore professional medial garb – complete with scrubs and a stethoscope – during the procedures from 2007 to 2011. Morris told Nuby’s aunt that she used silicone from Home Depot, according to the Broward’s Sheriff’s Office.
Nuby’s skin turned black, stiff and warm around the injection sites, after receiving a lethal combination of chemicals – sealed with super glue and cotton balls, reports the Daily Mail. She wrote a letter to the Department of Health investigators before her premature death in March.
Nuby suffered “massive systemic silicone migration,” claimed an assistant medical examiner.
On April 12th, Nuby’s grandmother confirmed that Morris administered these injections in a sworn statement to an investigator at the Florida Department of Health, according to the warrant for Morris’ arrest.
Morris previously turned herself in on March 12th when she faced charges of practicing medicine without a license resulting in serious injury. She was released the same day.
