So, I have a 22GB file full of all images ever hosted on pics.spaceghetto.st. Anyone interested in it? I can create a torrent and seed it for a few weeks if you want.

It's a .tar.bz2 (you can open it with winzip, winrar, 7zip)

No idea actually. I'm guessing not much bigger since jpegs (which it is mostly) are pretty compressed as they are.

solution might be simpler than you think.
upload the torrent. Kill your own torrent in your client and download the one you made and let it point to the place where the file(s) are stored. It should re-check the files and just seed like it supposed to.

I have about 10 gigs as well, I am sure there is a ton of overlap in both .jpeg/.gif images. The advantage you have is you know how to zip/torrent it. If I knew, I would share it with the world

Man... working the unzipped image folder
is like trying to put 10lbs of stuff in a 5lb bag.

Dumping it all in sub-folders for now and will work on
sorting thru it in due time.

After a week of trying I managed to get it all. There's was only one seed ls night but I was getting about 700K for my download and wasn't going to miss that. Left the computer on all night for it. lol

But holy shit, it's going to take over 4 hours just to extract everything now that I have it. I figured it would take awhile but I had no idea it would take that long.

Best to open it as a list and not thumbnails... and the start filling subfolders
