I have a musical friend who has been trading tapes and following underground music since the early 80's and he told about a band called 'My dog Poppa'. Their album was called '668, the neighbour of the beast'.

It's Popper and they're from Montreal.  That's a great record but the follow up wasn't so sweet.

From the hardcore badlands of Northern Tasmania...I remember their shows being a lot of fun, long defunct, but you can still hear them here
