I'm not going to vote for him but why should I care that he is a Mormon?

It's just really really amusing how the fundamentalist bible belt Christians can denounce Obama, who is a Christian, as a Muslim and then support Romney, whose religion violates most of the tenets of Christianity.

And it's not like they don't know this.  Four years ago they torpedoed Romney in favor of McCain, who they hated.  This time around it's either Romney or a black guy, so the whole God as just the child of celestial parents who incarnated himself as Adam so that all faithful Mormons (male Mormons) can become gods of their own planets with polygamous Celestial Wives has just been swept under the table.

Not sure Romney has a lot of support with that crowd. They may vote for him but they didnt care much for McCain either.

easy: romney talks about god (whatever god) but obama doesnt. whenever a christian hears the word "god" he/she goes nuts not even thinking, which god is the subject.

Obama does indeed talk about God. It just gets ignored by those who condemn it out of others. Does the shoe fit?   ""I wanted to host this breakfast for a simple reason -- because as busy as we are, as many tasks as pile up, during this season, we are reminded that there's something about the resurrection -- something about the resurrection of our savior, Jesus Christ, that puts everything else in perspective.

"We all live in the hustle and bustle of our work. And everybody in this room has weighty responsibilities, from leading churches and denominations, to helping to administer important government programs, to shaping our culture in various ways. And I admit that my plate has been full as well. The inbox keeps on accumulating.

"But then comes Holy Week. The triumph of Palm Sunday. The humility of Jesus washing the disciples' feet. His slow march up that hill, and the pain and the scorn and the shame of the cross. And we're reminded that in that moment, he took on the sins of the world -- past, present and future -- and he extended to us that unfathomable gift of grace and salvation through his death and resurrection."

They all believe in their invisible friends. How is he any more crazy than any of the others? His kind of crazy is just more recently born.

Beats being a Black Muslim.
