Did the same exact thing cutting shallots. Though i didn't catch the nail. No stitches either.

Not a whole lot you can do for a wound like that, clean it, wrap it, and give it time. I took a good chunk of flesh and nail off, (in the middle of a rush too) it was flat on one side for a while but you can't even tell anymore. The body has amazing regenerative properties.
