You couldn't have a day go by during the 90s and early 2000s without me having Tortoise on repeat constantly.  Nothing but good stuff, though the Millions Now Living Will Never Die import always stands out as being absolutely fucking amazing for what I consider their best work.  Damnit, I'm getting all misty-eyed thinking about the old days, being a jobless shitbag living with my folks playing O.G. Quake until dawn with that goddamned disc running constantly looped.

also, if anyone into tortoise isn't familiar with isotope 217, check them out, only a release or 2 by isotope, but they shared members pre-tortoise.

The first time I saw them they had an incestuous bill with 5ive Style and Sea and Cake in opening slots.  Far out show!
