My best bud lived in France. Married a girl there and stayed for a while. Divorced but went back for a few months to visit. I dont hate the French too much.

His biggest rub was not learning the language, being isolated in Brittany, and you guys are tough on foreigners staying too long. Good thing is you guys are good to his trade and he likes to go back to make money

I feel u pal! I don't like Brittany this much (makes me sad, like u wanna hang yourself...), and yeah, I imagine easily how French can be hard to learn... And, I love foreigners, mixing people makes minds greater , but it's real, except in big cities, it's hard to be a foreigner here, but I imagine it's the same everywhere.... Small cities often come with a lack of opening !!
