Kittens I've been taking care of for the past few days. A stray had a litter in my neighbors' shed and we went over to check them out and try to start socializing them basically, but the little bastards all ran here and there (5 of them). We could only catch these two. I think they're runty. One's got some weird spot on its side. The neighbors blocked off the opening to the shed (why?) and we ended up with these guys. Some lady that the lady neighbor works with is supposed to come get them tomorrow morning. If she doesn't then I feel I'm basically going to be stuck with two more cats, at least for a while 'cause they need to see a vet and all, and get out of the stupid cage.
There are 3 more fucking kittens out there and a handful of stray cats who are not fixed so this is bound to happen again. Need to start trapping and fixing them I suppose.

Anyway moral of the story is fuck everyone who doesn't get their pets fixed and let's them roam all over god's creation... and an extra fuck you to people who just move and leave cats behind.
Also... awww look how cute...

10am still no word from the lady who was supposed to come get them this morning. They have flea poop on them I can't imagine giving them a bath without them tearing me up. And I'll have to quarantine them from my cats cause I don't want them spreading runty kitty disease. Then I'll have to shit some money to get them checked out and vaccinated. I can't have more cats right now. FML. I have been in touch with the humane society for days and since it's kitten season no one has been able to take them.

Okay kittehs are with lady now. And she said she's going to get them fixed and all that good stuff. I'm relieved that I don't have to keep them but sad that I can't love on baby cats anymore. I'll update when I end up with the other 3!

When I fostered kittens earlier this year I was worried about unloading the kitties and figured it would be a total pain in the ass. I tried CL; posted an ad with email only and the responses came flooding in. From there I googled/FB lookup the persons email address to see if they had any online presence and went from there.

Being CL: I got plenty of "I don't have a car, can you drop them off" People not showing up/calling back, etc. But I eventually found homes for them all including the momma cat.
