Locke and Key got weird in the 3rd or 4th paperback...It starts great, but just got dumb...Really liked Neonomicon, Absolution, No Hero and SUPERGOD.  Currently reading The Boys, which is pretty decent.
Also, for standard superhero stuff, the Civil War arc, and then Planet Hulk and World War Hulk.  
Also a big fan of the CROSSED books.

no hero was really good. you should check out black summer and the filth if you haven't. also i don't really dig conventional super hero comics much but red sun is awesome.

Own Black Summer.  That was what got me into No Hero  I'll look up The Filth.  Funny story about No Hero, the drug that they modify for the change, 5-MeO-DiPT, is real.  Street name of Foxy Methoxy.  It won't give you super powers, but it's the best thing I'v ever found for feral sex, ever.
Playboy did a story about it back in the 90's when it first showed up in the club scene in NYC.
