here's my John Carpenter collection so far:

found a seller of original Spanish Heralds (small handout kinda advertisements, some with theater info printed on the back w/ showtimes). Got these for my favorite older movies since the full-sized posters would be way outta my budget, gonna put them in a collage with my old ticket stubs & frame it eventually, just a test layout:

I was going through some old youtube uploads & rewatched this commercial I recorded from 2008 that keyed in on the election themes of 1) showing off your retarded kid & 2) mentioning the economy. I decided to see what he'd been up to since then, & found a neat article.

Carnival Kia owner Chris Bostick arrested on assault, weapons charges

The owner of Carnival Kia Automotive Group, Jerry "Chris" Bostick, surrendered to Brentwood police on assault and weapons charges after an argument with his wife turned physical.
According to a police affidavit, during the argument Sunday evening at the family's Brentwood home, Bostick slammed the front door in his wife's face causing a "visible knot" on her face and red mark on her arm.
Moments later, when she tried to call 911, Bostick knocked the phone out of her hand, causing it to fall to the floor, the affidavit stated.
Bostick's wife fled the home and later called police from the parking lot of Brentwood High School.
She reportedly handed over an audio tape of the argument to investigators. Responding officers did not include in their report if the Bostick's children were present during the altercation.
Officers responded to the family's home and found Chris Bostick had left on foot.
During a search of the residence, police found an AR-15 assault rifle near the bed in the couple's bedroom and a handgun tucked under the mattress.

just picked this up (UK Quad, should be arriving any day now):
does anyone know anything about poster restoration / preservation? how complicated (or costly) it would be to remove
the tape on the front? I've heard linen-backing is expensive.
